Description
British couple Fiona (Kristin Scott Thomas) and Nigel Dobson (Hugh Grant) are sailing to Istanbul en route to India. Nigel encounters a beautiful French woman and her crippled American husband Oscar, who tells him their story... While living in Paris for several years trying to be a writer, he became obsessed with a woman he met by chance on a bus. He tracked her down and they started a steamy love affair. Oscar soon found himself enslaved by her love, and continues to tell Nigel the details of the various stages of this relationship over a number of visits to Oscars cabin. "*Rich and darkly disturbing, it's also wickedly entertaining.*" - Geoff Andrew, ***Time Out***
